We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll & Benefits Specialist

to join our Global Shared Services (GSS) Global Centre – remote work is possible

 

The Payroll & Benefits Specialist has a solid reporting line to Payroll Europe Group Leader and a dotted line to Compensation & Benefits Europe Group Leader. This is the first position in Global Centre HR that formally connects two sections and allows for individual development in both areas of Payroll and Benefits.

 

As a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be part of Payroll Team that is responsible for the operational payroll end-to-end process and management of the process linked to time management. Across Europe, we use local systems and service providers that are fed by common processes. The service ambition of Compensation & Benefits Team is to perform and further standardize global processes while delivering compensation and benefits support which is tailored to the specific needs of business across the 45 countries in the region.

 

In your role you will:

  • Split activities between Payroll (80%) and Benefits (20%),
  • Collect, analyze and manage the data flow between the company and a payroll vendor,
  • Analyze country-specific employee allowances and absences,
  • Work with other HR functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information,
  • Manage diverse benefits through invoicing, data sourcing, analysis and vendor contact (e.g. sales incentive scheme, profit share, meal vouchers),
  • Support employees in payroll- and benefit-related cases via Ticketing Tool,
  • Foster a close working relationship with HR Advisors in various countries, leadership in Business Areas and colleagues in Finance,
  • Participate in HR/Finance/IT-related projects and initiatives with the goal to improve processes in scope,
  • Work on improvement and digitalization initiatives with high emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Position Qualifications

To maximize your chances, you need:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in related field (Human Resources or Finance related academic credentials preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in working within the Payroll or Benefit fields.
  • To combine very good MS Excel skills with customer centric approach.
  • Experience from shared services or international organization (as an advantage).
  • Proficient written and oral communication in English (other languages as an advantage).
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement new ideas or ways of working and adapt to change.
